Liquid Glass
The interface uses macOS 26’s Liquid Glass material — adaptive surfaces that frost under Reduce Transparency and gain a border under Increase Contrast, automatically.
Z.AI, directly
Talks to the Z.AI video API over HTTPS with no middleman server. Bring your own Z.AI key — there’s no separate account and no data collected.
Keychain-secured
Your API key lives in the macOS Keychain and is sent only to z.ai. It’s never in the app bundle, a log, or anywhere this site can see.
02 What it is
Z Video Generator is a focused workspace for Z.AI video generation. Each job is an independent request with its own prompt and settings, so you can line up several and let them run in parallel.
It’s a bring-your-own-key app: paste a Z.AI API key and it’s stored in the macOS Keychain, used only to call z.ai over HTTPS. There’s no server in between and no account to create beyond your Z.AI key.

Add your key
Paste a Z.AI API key once. It’s stored in the macOS Keychain, and the connection light confirms it works.

Write a prompt
Describe the clip and pick the model, size, frame rate, and audio. Save prompts you like to the library.

Generate
Submit and watch the status live. Queue several jobs and they run in parallel up to the concurrent limit.

Play & save
Preview the result, open it on z.ai, or save the MP4 to Downloads. Regenerate or tweak and try again.

Survives restarts
In-progress renders resume after you quit and relaunch instead of being orphaned.

Preview a render in-app, open it on z.ai, or save the MP4 straight to Downloads.
Sandboxed
App Sandbox on; the only network destination is z.ai. No analytics, no tracking.
